Friary Guildford Band is one of the South"s most successful bands, notching up a plethora of Cups, Trophies and Awards on the brass banding scene since they were formed in 1983. As well as the all important Area held every year in Stevenage, Friary also regularly compete in a number of local contests, at Hove, Crawley and Folkestone, as well as a number of national contests at Yeovil, Blackpool, and Prestatyn.
We"re trying to compile a history of the highs (and lows!!) of Friary"s contesting history on this page.
